Fresh off the release of GOLLIWOG, one of the most daring and emotionally layered hip-hop
records of the year, billy woods returns to Madison on November 14th. GOLLIWOG finds woods
delving even further into the shadows, unpacking America and the grotesque with his notable
deadpan delivery and razor-sharp poetics. The production is claustrophobic and cinematic, full
of strange textures with lurching beats.

On stage, woods is a force: minimal yet magnetic in his presence. His live sets tend to feel less
like a rap show and more like reading in a cellar, dense verses delivered with surgical precision.
Fans can expect a night that promises both intensity and introspection. Anticipate cuts from
across his discography, all part of the deep, uncompromising catalog that has made him one of
underground hip-hop’s most essential voices.

For anyone who loves rap that challenges, confronts, and refuses to look away, this is a rare
chance to see one of the genre’s sharpest minds up close. High Noon Saloon. November 14.
Don’t miss it
